End of Session Update - Maryland Second Look Act

Unfortunately, the Maryland legislature did not pass new legislation creating a “second look” or pathway to court for inmates serving long sentences.

Senate Bill 123 came the closest, after significant amendments, but failed as the session ended at midnight on Monday, April 8.
